SYMPTOMS

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\Microsoft\office11.0 folder in your registry.

I wanted to disable the office plugin, and unchecked the option in Norton's Options dialog, but the message "requesting virus scan" still apears when launching Word or Excell.
Anyone knowing how to disable the integration? I tried regsvr32 /u
"c:\program files\norton antivirus\officeav.dll" and it gives an error
(0x8002801c), which probably means that it is already disintegrated.

regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Norton SystemWorks\Norton AntiVirus\officeav.dll"

Disable the plug-in ("In NAV go to Options. In the Miscellaneous section turn off 'Enable Office Plug-in.'".
